The Challenge
Remodeling grocery stores is one of the toughest jobs in construction as cleanliness, food safety and presentation remains the number one concern. For this project, we built a new mezzanine level with elevators, cases, gondolas and a ceramic floor throughout the store. All of this was achieved while ensuring that Whole Foods could continue to sell wonderfully clean, fresh, and delicious food.
The Solution
We determined the operational requirements for the store, and assembled a team of contractors that knew how to work closely with operations people. The store management and our construction team met every morning to ensure that the store met the lofty standards of the Whole Food experience.
The Result
A gorgeous store that did not lose a moment of sales and was fully and completely shopable at ALL times.
