Joe Devoy
President
Joe joined the company as an accountant in 1993. He became President when ARA moved Headquarters from New York to Maryland in 1997. Joe has overseen and led the company in his own unique way, delivering dramatic revenue and profit increases over the last 12 years. ARA Sales have increased 15 fold during his tenure as President. His great passion for ARA is always evident in his unrelenting commitment to improvement. His mantra that it can always be done better resonates through the company.
John Shanahan
Chief Operating Officer
Johns role is to ensure that our evolving process and systems are implemented to ensure sustained progress. John is responsible for financials, audit, payroll and human resources. Prior to joining ARA John spent ten years with Giant/Stop & Stop most recently as Director of Grocery Merchandising. In that role he worked closely with Operations to manage sales & profits for a portfolio in excess of $3 Billion in revenue.
Paudie Mulvihill
Vice-President
A qualified plumber and carpenter Paudie is another veteran of ARA. His many years of construction experience enable ARA to constantly improve field performance. He has an unrivalled ability to ensure that all jobs are delivered with the minimum of fuss and on schedule. Paudies attention to detail sets the standard for the company.
Bill Depaola
V.P. of Operations
Bill, a proud University of Maryland Graduate, was recently promoted to V.P. of Operations. In addition to overseeing our Project Management team he is responsible for all facets of preconstruction including general estimates and budgets. He has delivered projects for Harris Teeter, Whole Foods and Walgreens in emphatic fashion. Bill personifies the high performing, young vibrant culture at the heart of ARA.
Brendan Nagle
Project Manager
Brendan began his career with ARA as a Superintendent, moving on to becoming Assistant Project Manager and then Project Manager. As his scope of responsibility has increased Brendan has flourished. Toys R Us, Staples & Walgreens are among the customers in Brendan’s ever expanding Customer Portfolio.
Jeff Greeson
Project Manager
Jeff began his career with ARA as an Estimator. Jeff then embraced increased responsibilities as our Chief Estimator and Director of Safety Compliance. Recently Jeff stepped into role of Project Manager which will help round out his portfolio. Jeff is another graduate from the Indiana State University Construction Management Program.
